By train

The nearest railway station is Altglashütten-Falkau. From there it is about 4 km to Grüner Baum. We can pick you up from the train station by car if you arrive between 10 am and 6 pm. Please tell us at least one day in advance, if you want to be picked up. Regional trains from Freiburg are always available, which also allow transportation of bicycles. By coach

The closest coach station is “Badeparadies Titisee”, which is served by a national bus company. The drive from there to the Grüner Baum is about 20 minutes. For a fee of € 15 we can pick you up from there by car.

By car

Coming from Freiburg: Take the B31 towards Donaueschingen, exit at “Lenzkirch, Schluchsee”. Follow the road from there about 10 minutes, then turn left at the Elektro Schelb and Lidl in the direction of Seebrugg. After a few minutes turn left at the clearly visible lake “Windgfällweiher” in the direction of Raitenbuch. You see Grünen Baum on the right after about 2 km.

Coming from Donaueschingen or from the A5: Take the B31 towards Freiburg, exit at “Lenzkirch, Schluchsee”. Coming from Basel: From Lörrach follow the B317 via Zell im Wiesental, Todtnau and Feldberg into the valley “Bärental”. Turn right at Lidl in the direction of Seebrugg. After a few minutes turn left at the clearly visible lake “Windgfällweiher” in the direction of Raitenbuch. You see the Grünen Baum on the right after about 2 km.

By plane

The nearest airport is the Euroairport Basel / Mulhouse / Freiburg. There is a regular shuttle bus by the Freiburger Reisedienst to the main train station of Freiburg. From there on you can travel by train as explained above.
